ILLUSTRATED TALK: The Early Irish Harp

Join harp maker Natalie Surina and historian Maura Ó Cróinín as they discuss the history, construction, stringing and music of the early Irish harp, and compare it to its European counterparts. Afterwards, visit the Keepers of the Gael exhibition, which explores Gaelic society and culture through the lens of the learned families who served Gaelic chiefs and English lords in Ireland between 1200 and 1600 AD.
