GUIDED TOUR: The Revolution in a Dozen Objects

FreeThe Revolution in Galway, 1913-1923 exhibition explores the Easter Rising, War of Independence and Civil War from a Galway perspective. It features a diverse range of objects – a green ensign flag flown during the visit of King Edward VII to Galway in 1903, a piper’s cap belonging Éamonn Ceannt, a chess piece carved by Liam Mellows while imprisoned in Mountjoy – each with their own fascinating story.
