What are the highlights of Galway City Museum?
Join a free guided tour to learn about the origins of Galway and to hear fascinating stories behind some of the objects on display, including the oldest known Claddagh Ring, the statue of Pádraic Ó Conaire, a medieval Gaelic physician’s cup, and four 3,000-year-old bronze rings from Inishmore.
Tours start at the Museum reception desk. No booking required. Places allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
