Join us for a session full of creativity and compassion. Families are invited to make their own artworks in response to the powerful art created by children in Gaza. Your art will be shared with these young artists, showing them their voices are heard and valued.

Discover the story behind HeART of Gaza, a unique collaboration between Palestinian community worker, Mohammed Timraz (Deir al Balah, Gaza), and Irish architect, Féile Butler (Sligo). Their friendship began on Instagram sparking a project to amplify the voices of Gaza’s children through art. Join Féile for a discussion about the exhibition, the children’s stories, and how art offers hope and resilience.

Celebrate the HeART of Gaza exhibition opening with some music, light refreshments and a chance to view the artworks on display. This exhibition highlights the experience of young artists, 3 to 17, caught in unimaginable circumstances but refusing to be silenced.
