Free Tours for International Museum Day

Galway City Museum will share with museums around the globe in celebrating this year’s International Museum Day on Thursday 18th May. This is an International Council of Museums (ICOM) initiative to help spread the word that “Museums are an important means of cultural exchange, enrichment of cultures and development of mutual understanding, cooperation and peace among peoples” (ICOM).
To mark the occasion, we are offering two free guided tours of the museum on the topic of Sustainability and Well-Being. Members of the public are welcome to join one of two time slots, 12pm or 3pm.
No booking required. Places allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Suitable for Ages 8+
