Pair of silver candlesticks by Mark Fallon, Galway, 1729.  Engraved on 4 sides of the pedestals with ‘Pray for Mr John Lynch & ___ his – wife posterity who made a present to – both his sisters Bridgett and Ann Lynch of these – two candlesticks in the year of our Lord 1729’. Above this ‘is inscribed ‘Pertinent ad Monast Jesu at Maria OP Galvie’. Makers mark ‘MF’ and anchor impressed under top lip of candlestick.
