WORKSHOP: Be a Medieval Scribe

Archaeologist Anne Carey tells the story of the earliest monasteries in Ireland, showing how the monks lived and the beautifully illustrated manuscripts they produced, with activities including calligraphy. This event is co-hosted with Galway Civic Trust as part of its Medieval Experience Day, under Galway 2020’s Small Towns-Big Ideas programme.
As places are limited, advance booking is advised. Call the Museum on (091) 532460 from Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 5pm.
