TALK & DROP-IN WORKSHOP: Inspired by Burton

Fashion and textile designer/lecturer, Helen Garvey will give a short talk about textile and design in 19th-century Galway and lead an embroidery workshop using details from the artwork of Frederic William Burton (1816-1900) as starting point. No previous embroidery experience necessary. This event is being held in conjunction with the National Gallery of Ireland. All materials provided.
