ILLUSTRATED TALK: Galway & the Great War

FreeOn the eve of the centenary anniversary of the armistice, local historian William Henry looks at the impact of the Great War on Galway, city and county, and how the end of the war was reported and marked locally. William Henry is the author of Galway and the Great War and Forgotten Heroes: Galway Soldiers of the Great War.
As part of the Decade of Commemorations programme, this event has received funding from the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht through Galway City Council.
