DISPLAY & DEMO: Musical Instrument Makers
May 26, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm UTC+0
FreeAs part of the Galway Early Music Festival, visit the Museum to meet Irish craftspeople who hand make musical instruments. Although widely used in Europe in the medieval, renaissance and baroque periods, many of the instruments are perhaps unfamiliar to a modern audience. Come along to see and hear early Irish harps, baroque flutes, hurdy-gurdys, citterns, baroque guitars and many other stringed and blown instruments.
All Ages (no booking required)
